After successfully completing the ventilation works on an earlier contract via the sub-contractors package, Renaker looked to separate the ventilation package and employed AV UNIBRAK direct to design and build the ventilation package on their flagship site in central Manchester. The client didn’t want any vents shown on the façade of the building and we designed this with multiple ventilation strategy’s to also meet the varying acoustic restraints throughout the 4 blocks. These ranged from MEV, dMEV and MIV though risers, corridor ventilation etc… As the blocks near completion the extra effort is certainly made worthwhile as the scheme looks stunning - with the absence of vents surprising noticeable.
